New ! 42 Epic Server

So, just being simple: is there anybody out there?

flamingpie82 and I want to continue ! 42 Epic Server after Twizard shut it down forever according to flame.

But we want it back, because it's too Epic!!
Flame said he could run a server, so do you support this?

I support this I cant believe its shut down.. Its so epic and so fun. Why twizard why

I know it sucks, but Flame and I thought about reviving it by starting a clone.

Should I make this server premium (beta) or classic?

What about the good old Classic server AND the Premium 42 server? Last one with whitelist for trusted people only?

Well Lux it was a general question to everyone on the forums, so pretty much me u and pirate =p
But idk if i can handle both a classic and premium server on my comp, I'll have to wipe it clean of all useless programs

Anyway, you could always try to host both premium and classic dedicated.
And if it's too much, we'll find another host for premium

It ran on MCForge, and I have still got the ranks written down. I'll post those in the next post.

but if i had a choice id rather have a premium server, just so i could have donator ranks where people would actually pay so i can put the server on an external host so its not as hard on my comp and btw u know how to make a website???

Sure you don't want a classic server as well? I mean: that's where it all started.
But I do really like the idea of a full glorious Premium server

About that website: I don't know if I can, but a friend of mine knows a lot more about it,
so if you could host it, we could build it.

i thought we could be omnipotents and rule the server in a aristocratic way:
the best (us) rule as equals.

Dude im so sorry and i know i said it before but i gotta say it again...
Alotta SHIT has been goin on wit me atm but if i work like uber hard i may be able to set up the comp im going to use for hosting within the next 3-5 days maybe sooner depending on how things play out.

Also my computer won't be able to host to many people on it at a time unless i get an external host, which costs money, so that brings me into my next subject , the ranks,


Ranks:(lowest to highest)
Guest (In order to rank up you must get out of "Guest Town*"
Member (Full Fledged member, basic commands such as /sethome and the ability to make a shop and get out of guesttown)
Builder (Pay 100000 in game currency** to get this, gives more commands such as tpa (a request to teleport to some1)
( Im skipping adv builder and uber builder)
EpicBuilder (Donate 5 dollars to the server, this will allow you to use a compass to teleport to places within sight, give you 250000 in game currency** and more commands)
Architect ( Donate 10 dollars to the server, this will allow you to tp directly, no request needed and fly (without creative, also 500000 in game currency**)
Designer (Donate 20 dollars to the server, allows you to set warps*** for free and gives you access to 5 spells of your choice if i can moderate that plugin properly, also 750000 in game currency**)
End Of Normal Ranks, I'm going to talk about the op ranks with you when i get a chance look this over and post what you think ON HERE.

*GuestTown- a Dome Structure created to house the guests so they cannot go into the normal world, you must earn your freedom by building a gorgeous house (trees, sand, and 2 mines will be provided, also you may sell your materials in the Guesttown Shop to earn money to buy more materials such as glowstone)

**In Game Currency- Im not sure which economy plugin i will use but money will be small such as $1 is like .01 E.I. you may sell one piece of obsidian in the server shop**** for $400

*** Warps- a plugin that allows to type /warp (destination) to go to a preset warp, warps will cost 10000 to set if your not the Designer rank.

**** Server Shop- A shop with infinite selling and buying, this will be done by using a plugin that i can't remember the name of for the life of me

So here you go lux, hope its not too much reading

I like it! Guesttown prevents griefers from stopping by and troll us, and real money donations will only be done by people who've already put a lot of time in the server and are willing to pay money. And the in-game currency gives people some more things to do if they get bored with just building and survivaling for a while

Btw: iConomy can be linked to chest shops etc, so it seems te most logic plugin to use for money.

And I understand if you're busy irl just take the time you need!

Again btw: I think two Op ranks are at least required. With us being the highest one, and some of the most loyal and trusted will be chosen by us personally.

Aaand, are we gonna add some fun mods for the players as well?

Do we really need a website? And will we use a .com or a .tk domain?
